I've finally managed to pull some of Lil's hair into pigtails. Is it just me or do they make her look slightly evil in an uber-cute way?

Well, there IS a little bit of a resemblance to horns going on...honestly, I have never seen pigtails before that I would describe as sharp (as in stabby stabby, not as in "Damn, Bill, that suit looks GOOD!".

Did she actually sit for the transformation?

She kind of stayed still. The first time I had to distract her a lot but now I just tell her we're going to make her hair pretty. She runs into the bathroom with me and does a happy dance while I tug at her hair. Then she runs out into the kitchen yelling "Peeyee!!" (Pretty) She usually has them pulled out within two minutes.

So, you're teaching her that without her hair all done nice, she's not pretty? I wonder what the two minute window of beauty will do to her self-esteem. Hmmm. I see a girly-girl in your future.... :P

Great, Lillian's gonna take hours to 'get herself ready', and Preston will be obsessed with making sure his every move is 'cool'. The next generation of Johnstones should be...colorful.

I always tell her I'm making her *hair* pretty! :P

And if Lily grows up to be a girly-girl, she'll be the kind of girly-girl who can kick any football player's butt. She already beats the crap out of Nick on a daily basis.

Siblings are diffent. No real social barrier to a smack-down. Especially when it's needed. :)

I can see her now: Punch, kick, whack! You bastard! You messed up my mascara! Whump, kick, kick, punch, punchity punch, whack!
